Callie Brotherton
Founder of CGSD
Since launching CGSD, Callie wanted her school to be a place for everyone, where everyone felt welcome. Callie's beyond enthusiastic about what she does, it's her dream and wouldn't change it for the world. All the hard work and support she receives from her team and parents is overwhelming. Callie says: "Seeing everyone happy, laughing and getting along, i've achieved something i will never forget". Callie's got many years experience as a dance teacher with qualifications in UDO. She’s the choreographer to CGSD Tinies, Teenies, Seniors, Adults & Megacrew whilst supporting and training the rest of her team. Her CGSD Adult crew landed a spot on Britian's Got Talent live shows and choreographed the dance that was performed in front of Simon Cowell himself.
Summer Bloomfield
Teacher/Choreographer
An amazingly talented dancer and choreographer, Summer Bloomfield joined CGSD as soon as the doors opened, quickly becoming our first and very loved member of staff. Training along side Callie for many years, Summer has been dancing from the early years of aged 3 covering all styles of dance finally finding her home at CGSD. Summer is currently the choreographer to our CGSD Juniors, Inters & Seniors and teaches contemporary style, commercial and competitive hip hop. Summer says: "the best feeling in the world is when students are enjoying your sessions".
Jamie Moore
Teacher/Choreographer
Jamie is beyond enthusiastic about what he does, both as a dancer and as a teacher. He's amazingly talented, caring, patient and kind. Jamie's proudest achievements in the dance industry include placing 2nd in the O18 advanced at BDO Regionals, 5th at BDO world championships and 6th at UDO world championships as well as being a back up dancer at the metro radio arena. Jamie has 6 years experience teaching and 13 years experience as a dancer, thriving in Street, House, Popping & Locking & Breaking. Jamie quickly landed a spot on the CGSD Seniors team who competes against some of the best crews in the UK.
Kyla Mellor
Trainee Teacher
Kyla works with the future generation of CGSD, supporting in classes aged 3-7 years in both Hip Hop & Breakdance. Kyla’s an amazing, creative minded trainee who currently work’s with CGSD Tinies. She is very enthusiastic and enjoys dancing as a soloist and as a team dancer. We are lucky to have her part of the teaching team.
Nieve Murphy
Trainee Teacher
Nieve has been one of CGSD longest student, joining us 2016. Nieve is a very valued member of our Teacher Training Programme helping support our Contemporary & Acro sessions. Nieve has a passion for Dance, drama and gymnastics whilst training at her gymnastics school too. A very loved member Nieve works amazingly with our youngest students, she’s a very energetic and hard working individual. We are delighted to have her part of the team at CGSD.
Lewis Mcsparron
Trainee Teacher
A very talented Lewis Mcsparron is the newest member to the teaching team finding his love for dance at CGSD in 2019… Lewis has always loved dance from a young age, he finally found a school to allow him to show off his talent. We are very excited to see what the future holds for this dancer and trainee.
