Callie Brotherton

Founder of CGSD

Since launching CGSD, Callie wanted her school to be a place for everyone, where everyone felt welcome. Callie's beyond enthusiastic about what she does, it's her dream and wouldn't change it for the world. All the hard work and support she receives from her team and parents is overwhelming. Callie says: "Seeing everyone happy, laughing and getting along, i've achieved something i will never forget". Callie's got many years experience as a dance teacher with qualifications in UDO. She’s the choreographer to CGSD Tinies, CGSD Minis, Adults & Megacrew whilst supporting the rest of her team. Her CGSD Adult crew landed a spot on Britian's Got Talent live shows and choreographed the dance that was performed in front of Simon Cowell himself.

Summer Bloomfield

Teacher/Choreographer

An amazingly talented dancer and choreographer, Summer Bloomfield joined CGSD as soon as the doors opened, quickly becoming our first and very loved member of staff. Training along side Callie for many years, Summer has been dancing from the early years of aged 3 covering all styles of dance finally finding her home at CGSD. Summer is currently the choreographer to our CGSD Inters, CGSD Seniors, CGSD Commercial Minis and Seniors as well as supporting Callie within Megacrew. Summer also and teaches contemporary and heels. Summer says: "being able to watch our dancers grow in confidence and achieve so much is incredible. CGSD is more than just a dance school, its a community".

Jamie Moore

Teacher/Choreographer

Jamie is beyond enthusiastic about what he does, both as a dancer and as a teacher. He's amazingly talented, caring, patient and kind. Jamie's proudest achievements in the dance industry include placing 2nd in the O18 advanced at BDO Regionals, 5th at BDO world championships and 6th at UDO world championships as well as being a back up dancer at the metro radio arena. Jamie is our solo, house and breakdance teacher. Jamie said "I love being able to express the way I connect with music.".

Kyla Mellor

Teacher Choreographer

Kyla works with the younger generation of CGSD in both Hip Hop & Breakdance. She is now the choreographer to the CGSD Tinies competitive team. Kyla’s an amazing, creative minded teacher. She is very enthusiastic and enjoys dancing as a soloist and as a team dancer. We are lucky to have her part of the teaching team. Kyla said " to have the opportunity to leave a positive impact on the next gereration of dancers is an accomplishment itself and that's why I love teaching at CGSD".

Nieve Murphy

Teacher

Nieve has been one of CGSD longest student, joining us 2016. Nieve is a very valued member of our Teacher Training Programme helping support our Contemporary & Acro sessions. Nieve has a passion for Dance, drama and gymnastics whilst training at her gymnastics school too. A very loved member Nieve works amazingly with our youngest students, she’s a very energetic and hard working individual. We are delighted to have her part of the team at CGSD.
